Cindy Pendley is the Administrative Manager II for the Center for Advanced Communications Policy (CACP). She manages the center’s business operations which encompass finance, facilities, human resources, IT and administrative support. Pendley is a Georgia Tech alum with a BS in Textiles. She has worked as a product developer for Kimberly-Clark Corp, specializing in filtration products. She holds two patents. Pendley began her career at Georgia Tech in 2005. She has had roles in Professional Education, Georgia Tech Foundation, Biological Sciences and Aerospace Engineering. As part of her managerial role in AE, Pendley helped establish and manage a new center, the Center for Space Technology and Research (CSTAR). She also managed a space systems research lab which was involved in the first Georgia Tech student-built spacecraft, scheduled to launch on the Falcon Heavy Rocket in October 2018. Pendley holds a MS in Educational Psychology at Georgia State. Her program focused on cognition, specifically how adults learn.
