Recha R. Reid is the Administrative Manager II for the Center for Advanced Communications Policy (CACP). She is responsible for all budgeting, human resources and administration of the Center, to include management of the CACP staff. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Spanish from Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia and her Master of Arts degree in International Studies, with a concentration in Diplomacy from the University of Birmingham in Birmingham, United Kingdom. For several years, she worked as a project manager for the National Institutes of Health, United Kingdom before relocating to Savannah, Georgia to work as the program manager for the NIH-NIMHD Research Infrastructure in Minority Institutions (RIMI) grant. In her previous role at Georgia Tech she was the Senior Administrative Professional in the Center for Academic Enrichment, Office of Undergraduate Education, where she managed the Center’s finances, OHR requests and administration.
