CACP Researchers discuss findings from the RADx initiative in new publication

CACP’s Sarah Farmer, Director of Testing and Evaluation and Amanda Peagler, Research Scientist II were recently published in Science Advances for their contribution towards the article on The critical role of engineering in the rapid development of COVID-19 diagnostics: Lessons from the RADx Tech Test Verification Core. Their research assessed over 30 technologies that were designed to detect the coronavirus disease in order to meet the testing needs of the United States. This paper details the evaluation process used to effectively determine which diagnostic devices were ideal and offer recommendations to improve efficiency in other devices.
