Baker Gives Paper at IPSA 2023

CACP Senior Director of Research, Paul M.A. Baker, recently attended the International Political Science Association (IPSA)  27th World Congress of Political Science held 15-19 July 2023, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

He presented a paper (co-authored with Professor Cassidy Sugimoto, SPP, Georgia Tech), “Innovation Networks, Workforces, and Mixed-Sector Policy Opportunities at the Knowledge Networks, Knowledge Networks, Workforces, and Innovation Policy at the Edges panel. The paper sets out characteristics and conditions of innovation networks, the associated demand for STEM related work and workforces, and potential policy opportunities to enhance workforce inclusivity and agility.  

In addition to chairing and serving as discussant for 2 other panels, Baker was re-elected as Chair of Research Committee 11 (RC11) Science and Politics.
