University of Hong Kong
A part of an agreement between the Journalism and Media Studies Centre (JMSC), and the University of Hong Kong, James White assisted in developing existing and proposed research activities of the JMSC, in particular with the researching, writing, and editing of papers for publication in English. While there is considerable interest in the condition of communications in China and Asia, especially the media and the social media situation, there is a lack of English-language material on that situation. Dr. White assisted in developing research to make up for that lack, and to develop an international series of books to offer new approaches, both conceptually and methodologically, to the study of media and communications in China.
