CACP Researchers publish paper on application of “personas” to smart city planning

Posted July 14, 2022

CACP’s Sarah Farmer, Paul M.A. Baker, CDAIT’s Jeremy Solomon and colleague John C. Bricout (UMN) had a paper Personas, the Pandemic, and Inclusive, Synthetic, Smart City Planning published in International Journal of E-Planning Research (IJEPR). This paper expands use of constructed “personas” as part of an inclusive policy design approach to engage citizen perspectives from marginalized and under-served populations, such as older adults and people with disabilities, vital to the development of inclusive smart cities.
