Nathan W. Moon presented at UGA Regional Institute on STEM Education

Nathan W. Moon delivered two presentations with colleagues at the University of Georgia's Regional Institute on STEM Education on Saturday, April 5, 2014. “BreakThru: E-Mentoring to Support Students with Disabilities in STEM” presented some highlights from the NSF-supported Georgia STEM Accessibility Alliance, including a discussion of electronic mentoring (e-mentoring) and its efficacy as part of GSAA’s BreakThru project. Moon serves as the Georgia Tech co-PI for GSAA, which is a collaborative between UGA and Georgia Tech. “MATH 1113 Precalculus Emporium: A Multi-Institutional Online Precalculus Course” provided an overview of a University System of Georgia (USG) online precalculus course as part of USG’s Complete College Georgia efforts. Moon serves as the external evaluator for the course. A copy of the BreakThru and the MATH 1113 presentations may be found below.
