Nathan W. Moon delivered two presentations with colleagues at the University of Georgia's Regional Institute on STEM Education on Saturday, April 5, 2014. “BreakThru: E-Mentoring to Support Students with Disabilities in STEM” presented some highlights from the NSF-supported Georgia STEM Accessibility Alliance, including a discussion of electronic mentoring (e-mentoring) and its efficacy as part of GSAA’s BreakThru project. Moon serves as the Georgia Tech co-PI for GSAA, which is a collaborative between UGA and Georgia Tech. “MATH 1113 Precalculus Emporium: A Multi-Institutional Online Precalculus Course” provided an overview of a University System of Georgia (USG) online precalculus course as part of USG’s Complete College Georgia efforts.
